Who is Dr. Croone?
WHO IS DR.CROONE?
Dr. James D. Croone Sr. is a Bible lecturer, author, and Professor of Biblical Studies, and is the founder and president of Seattle Urban Bible College. He is best known for his adherence to the pattern of sound doctrine.
WORDS FROM THE PRESIDENT
Seattle Urban Bible College came about as a result of the Lord sending influential men and women of God into my life. Unbeknown to them, their prayers and willingness to comfort me in troubling times pushed me more into God’s Word to ascertain His ability to transform men and women’s lives, and by this The Lord has blessed me profusely.
It never ceases to amaze me how God uses His people to accomplish His will and confirm calls on ones life, namely mine. My love for His Church has made me prayerful for a clear understanding on how I could contribute to the kingdom of Christ. Through Fervent prayer and exhaustive study my call was manifest.
I served as an Elder and Pastor of Education at a local assembly, and supported the vision of the Bishop A.L Hardy Academy as a professor of Apologetics and New Testament Studies. Although my services to these fine institutions have ended, our loyalty and friendship will remain until The Lord returns, or until one of us is called home to heaven.
I believe that there are seasons when men and women of God must undergo preparation, and testing, in order to come to a place to fulfill the call that God has mandated. Scripture is lucid in stating, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.” (Psalm 37:23 NKJV)
Teaching God’s Word is a privilege that I’ am grateful to carry out. It is my sincere hope that I will be allowed to come along side the presbytery in our great state and assist in developing competent Christian Leaders through quality graduate programs.
All graduate programs here at SUBC are designed to equip men and women for Christian service. We have made the programs affordable to be a blessing to those in the urban community.
May Seattle Urban Bible College be the vehicle in which God’s Glory can be seen in those who enroll and are willing to partake of the fruit. Come and take part in the history of SUBC.
